Hello cuzins!
I am from Sariaya, Quezon! I am just browsing this site and just got curious from where my surname originated? I immediately phoned my grand father and ask the name of his ancestors but unfortunately, he forgot about their names already as he is too old to remember! lol! Though he mentioned that their family came from Cebu and Davao.
My grand father's name is Renato Nadela and he mentioned a name "Luis Nadela" as his grand father. This Luis Nadela used to live in Manila and they were the "magicians". I remember seeing tito Burik (Enrique Nadela) in one of the family affairs in Sariaya, Quezon. I was still too small that time but I couldn't remember that cheerful face of our tito Burik.
That is as far as I can share. Can anyone help me to find out more of my cousins?? This is tricky I know! But fun, hey!
Anyway, It is so nice to know that I am not the only Nadela in this word!

maria is the full name of my grandmother and some of the names that you mentioned in the email that you sent to me are familiar,like dolores and gabriel as far as i know that they are a niece and nephew of my grandmother, and the names of my grandmother's brothers are sergio, ignacio and leon nadela, hope you can trace them tnx in advance and more power to nadela clan..... |

no, tnx for the recognition but it is not mine to boast on that part of choosing this path or vocation i am right now...for i am still on the process and it takes a lot of prayer and struggles in fact to battle the world and even myself...
so what urgently ask in our clan is your prayer most possible and accessible to everyone, where we are truly united as one in Thy Holy name of Jesus.
tnx once again for ur support though not all of my family members agreed to this decision of mine. That is why i'm always relying on others in terms of financial obligation to the seminary.
i just hope and pray that u too not going to condemn me in this kind of life i am going to.

We admire you for threading the difficult path of your vocation which only a select few, imbued with wisdom, uprightness and strong faith in God, would choose to do and totally abandoning the worldly lures in life.
My sister, Sr. Linda Nadela, Order of Carmelite, did the same thing many years ago and still quite happy in a life of daily prayers and devotion to our God.
